Share the Shoes collects minimal data to provide our service:
- Text you submit for translation: Processed by AI, not stored permanently.
- Phone numbers for invites: Used only to send a single invite text, then discarded.
- Basic usage data: Anonymous analytics to improve the app.
What We Don't Do
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't store the content you translate.
- We don't send marketing messages.
- We don't share phone numbers with third parties.
SMS Invites
When you use the "Share the Shoes" feature, we send a single text message to the phone number you provide. We do not store these numbers or send any follow-up messages. Recipients can reply STOP to block future messages.
Third-Party Services
We use Anthropic (Claude AI) for translations and Twilio for SMS delivery. These services have their own privacy policies and process data according to their terms.
